22" K Zildjan, Istanbul stamped, posterior bell signature
I purchased this with a used 1965 Ludwigs. All other cymbals were Zildjan, but not Istanbul. This means I can't be certain of a date of manufacture (make that hand-made). This 22" has the resonance of an orchestral instrument. The sustain is amazing!
The hole is mostly round with a slight divet on one limb.
The underside signature has a small deficit. I didn't know Zildjan signed his Turkish cymbals, and was trying to remove the "squibbles" when someone stopped me...Whew!
I felt like I had defaced a great work of art (and I had). You will see from the images, that it hasn't been cleaned in a while, but sound is still awesome. This cymbal can be yours for $1,000, plus shipping.
