it has been quite a long time since i had posted my origanal comment. i have stayed friends with rob through the years, and perhaps some people may think i'm crazy for doing so. i talk to rob at least 2 times a week, sometimes more. my question for the web site viewers is just how many people would speak out against rob at a sentence reduction hearing? because as some of you may know, at the time the crime happened, the sentence for the type of crime was 10yrs-20yrs. we all know rob recieved 20yrs-40yrs.i do not meen to bring up any hard feelings, but it is a legit question to ask.

If any of you would have bothered to read the "discovery packet" from this case (over 1000 pages), you would have seen that Sebastian (the guy living in the basement) gave three different stories as to how he "found" Dixie that morning. The EMT's referrred to him as the "father" - he actually killed this child and got away with it and it's very sad that everyone has to point the finger at the only person that ever truely loved her. Her own mother was heard saying that "she should have never had a child at her age - she wasn't ready for it" I have witnessed her mother being abusive to her - NOT her step-father ---- just remember - There are always two sides to every story - because the grandfather was a member of the fire company - anything he said was true - even if it wasn't! If anyone would like to see the actual discovery packet = let me know - it's ALL there!!!!! Public defenders don't take the time to go through everything!!!!

I can't believe that someone could be as cruel as to hurt a child. No child deserves this kind of treatment. How could somthing or someone so little be a threat to a grown man? Even if he does not get what he deserves in this lifetime, there will be a day that he will have to face a judge that has the power to give him a greater conviction than he (or any of us) can imagine. I hope that the family of this child finds peace in knowing that she is no longer in any danger. She is an angel that watches over them. When they get to heaven, I am sure that she will be waiting with a smile and a beautiful set of wings. I don't think that God intended for her life to end in the manner that it did, but I do think that he made her special for the short time that she was in our world, and even more special in heaven.

I'm at a loss of words, I really don't know what to say. I am Christine's cousin. I moved away shortly before Dixie-Anna was born. I regret that more and more everyday.

Dixie-Anna, I'm sorry that I never met you. There are many people who love you and miss you everyday, and I am one of them. I look forward to seeing your beautiful smile someday. When we finally meet, I want you to tell me all about how much fun you had on your Grandpa's boat I love you Dixie-Anna Spencer. Can you be my angel too?

I met Dixie only once but I saw her picture everyday, I worked with & was friends of Dixie's GOD Mother, Dawn. My prayers to the family, time does not heal all wounds but know she is with you all, all of the time. GOD Bless.

I am so sorry for your loss. No child should ever die a violent death. The fact that it was at the hands of someone who was supposed to love and protect them makes it even more horrific.
I know you will always mourn her death, but
I hope that you find peace knowing DixieAnna is watching over you from above. I'm sure Karissa is right beside her.
