Star college senior quarterback 'Little' Willy Bateman, in spite of 5'11" frame, is destined to become the number one draft pick overall by a struggling professional football team until his jealous, resentful younger brother causes him to crash their vehicle, resulting in Willy's non-throwing arm being sheared off by a sharp-edged guardrail and seriously jeopardizing his lifelong dream.
