I don't know if this tidbit will interest you, but Lillian Roth and her husband, Burt McGuire, also lived in Ft. Lauderdale. I recall the three of us flying down there on March 6, l955, right after her New York television appearance on Ed Sullivan's "Toast of the Town."
The McGuires had a lovely waterfront home where Burt docked his prized boat in the back. The address was 1607 S.E. 14th Street. By the way, this was the house in which Lillian had written much of "I'll Cry Tomorrow."
