Thanks for that info. I could tell by Jimmy Durante's face you were having a good time with Eddie goofing around.

What kind of reactions did you get from Liz Taylor and Dorothy Lamour when you snapped them? Were they talkative at all?

Peter,

Liz Taylor was always friendly. These photos were taken in front of the Plaza Hotel where she usually stayed. The picture of us in my scrapbook was taken on Fifth Avenue where we spotted her exiting one of the shops.

Dorothy Lamour posed for us outside the posh "21 Club." She was surprised that we recognized her and thanked us for the attention. Conversation with most of the celebs was about autographs and photo requests and consisted mainly of "small talk."
