Fred Sammis' granddaughter recognized her grandfather in the youtube clip of Susan receiving the Photoplay award. Fred Sammis was the presenter. I thought it was very interesting to hear from her.
She said that her grandfather died about 7 years ago and that his wife whom he had married in the '70's just recently died and her family has gotten posession of a lot of pictures he had taken with celebrities. She is going to try to post some of them on the net, so I'll give you url for her pictures when she lets me know...should be interesting!
She was surprised that I had even heard of Photoplay.. oh yeah, lots of us remember Photoplay and probably read it religiously like me...LOL....
My only objection to Photoplay is that it never had Susan on the cover.
