Susan Hayward starred in many radio productions during the 1940's. She had a wonderful speaking voice. I'm sure you have noticed that she narrated several of her films....The President's Lady is one I can think of offhand. Here is Suspense Theater's "The Dead Sleep Lightly" starring Susan Hayward, Walter Hampton, and Lee Bowman (Later, Bowman starred with her in "Smash-Up, The Story of A Woman")...The broadcast aired on March 30, 1943.....(Can you think of any other films for which she provided narration?
