Thanks for rethinking the General Board! 
As an 'aging Hippie', what came to my mind, immediately, was that 'oldie but goodie' song, by Joni Mitchell, "Big Yellow Taxi"--which contained one of my favorite lines:
"Don't it always seem to go,
that you don't know what you've got,
till it's gone."
And isn't that so often the truth!! 
I--and Amy, too--are certainly happy to see the General Board back!!
