Mother As I Saw Her – Second Part
Swami Saradeshananda
10. The Mother’s Reaction to excruciating Suffering – 4

The Brahcharin was given the job of getting the medicine ready, which he did with great care. After the Pooja and her breakfast, the Mother sat at ease, removed the cloth from over the knee where the pain was located, and asked the Brahmacharin to apply the medicine as directed. But the moment the medicine touched her skin, the Mother cried out in great agony. There was a burning sensation as if a live pirce of charcoal was placed there and a blister immediatelt formed at the site! The Brahmacharin who applied the medicine, was completely taken aback. Tears were running down the cheeks of the Mother in streams and she was sitting, pressing the two sides of the spot.
