In the first century A.D. King Prasutagas dies, leaving his Kingdom jointly to his wife, celtic Queen Boudicca, and to Rome in the hope the division will keep Rome from taking over. Rome then declares the decree forfeit, and they come to claim what is theirs. Boudicca is publicly whipped and her daughters violated. With unmatched resolve she vows bloody vengeance, and gets it. Uniting the Britons as never before, she takes her people on the offensive, as they fight to drive the Roman's from the island for good.
