One-Hour TV gritty drama pilot

"When six strangers' lives are intertwined by a recreational drug with a ninety-nine percent addiction rate, they must find a way to survive in this new terrifying world."

This screenplay would be a medium-high budget for production, cuts and re-writes can be made to lower budget.

This is a show about weakness and shame and conversely strength and courage. This show focuses on the choices we make. How one choice can completely derail our lives, and how one choice can send us on a path to redemption. Our six main characters have one thing in common. They are all directly on indirectly responsible for the addiction and ultimately death of family and friends. When they get quarantined inside an entire city they must face the ugliest part of themselves if they want to survive.

Lane, a young wannabe entrepreneur struggles with finding purpose, as fancy cars and a big bank account hold little weight in this new world.

Elly, a brilliant but troubled chemist. On her quest to find the perfect high to escape her life becomes an accomplice in creating the drug that kills billions of people.

Ollie, a tired and bored addiction counselor is one of the only known people to try the said drug, without any addictive side effects.

Yanz is a technologically brilliant hundred millionnaire who is crippled by horrific social anxiety and depression.

Joshuwaya and Gaia were both orphaned at young ages through horrific acts. After the find each other in the military, they form a cult, ultimately perpetuating the cycle of abuse.
