Logline: After his client is murdered, a psychotherapist for at-risk foster children and gang members battles his own psychological demons when he sets off on a dangerous quest to find an AWOL high profile client.
In light of the recent societal climate and racial tension, this project is especially topical and relevant.
A little about me:
Much of “1600 Slauson” is inspired by my own personal experience. For many years, I have provided therapy to at-risk abused foster kids and gang members in South Central L.A. and Compton. And the therapy was done in the hood: On street corners. Fast food joints. Juvenile Halls. Foster homes. You name it.
