Eyes in the Dark

Today started out as any other day. I woke up feeling alone and depressed. No plans for the day. Flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch on Television, I decided to put in a movie.
Wind blowing briskly outside on a summer day. I heard a door sounding like it's opening. I sat up and listened. I went to investigate the noise, but it's only the wind. Mind playing tricks on me.

The sun is shining through my bedroom window. Something catches my eyes from behind the door. I froze. Is someone in my house? I slowly push open the door and it's only my jacket hanging behind the door. The phone rings, guess what nobody is on the other end of the line.
My day is starting to feel eerie. I didn't know things were going to get worse as the day goes on. I heard the doorbell ring. I turned down the volume on the Television and listened.

The doorbell rings again. As I walk down the hallway now there's banging on the door. I looked out the window but no car is in the driveway. The banging continues angrily. I called out Who is it? The Man's voice on the other side of the door said It's Me. I said Me Who? The man was getting more and more agitated. He yelled It's Me. I said if you don't identify yourself I'm calling the police. He slams the screen door and walks off the porch cursing and swearing beause I didn't opened the door for him. I called the police. The police came and said an escaped convict was in the neighborhood. He raped and murders women. I didn't see the man's face but I gave the police a description of his back and the color of his hair. Was it the rapist at my door.
