Pirates of the dead man's crossing screenplay.

Dear Sir or Madam:
My name is Robert Angelus Green, and I am 21 years of age.
I have recently completed a screenplay, of 110 pages, which I would like
to have produced.
The characters are as listed below:

• DARRYL HAWLEY
A THIN, DIRTY-LOOKING MAN WHO WEARS A BROWN LINEN COAT, LINEN SHIRT,
LINEN SAILORSLOPS AND A RED MONMOUTH CAP, BLOOD-RED STOCKINGS AND
BUCKLED LEATHER SHOES.

• JAYSON MAY (JAYCE)
THE BRAINS OF THE LOT, HE READS A LOT OF BOOKS AND MANUSCRIPTS. HE WEARS
A BLUE CHECK
COTTON WORK SHIRT, GREY STOCKINGS, BLOOD-RED FLY-FRONT TROUSERS,
SPECTACLES AND
BUCKLED LEATHER SHOES.

• BILL CHASEY
A REAL, STOUT-LOOKING MAN, WHO ALWAYS GETS INTO BAR FIGHTS AND NEVER
LOSES, AND
ALWAYS HAS A CUTLASS BY HIS SIDE. HE WEARS LONG LEATHER ARM WRAPS, A PAIR
OF MEDIEVAL
BOOTS SCOUNDREL BROWN, A BRONZE RING PENTAGRAM INVERSE, THORSBERG
TROUSERS
RAGNAR BROWN, A BROWN EYE PATCH, A WHITE LINEN SHIRT AND A HIGHWAYMAN
SCOUNDREL
COAT. ON HIS HEAD, HE HAS A BLACK FELT COCKED-HAT.

• ROBERT SMITHY
A WORKING-CLASS MAN IN HIS LATE THIRTIES. HE WEARS A BROWN COCKED HAT,
DIRTY-WHITE
LINEN SHIRT WITH A BROWN WAISTCOAT, CREAM KNEE BREECHES AND BROWN
STOCKINGS. ON HIS
FEET HE HAS A PAIR OF WORN LEATHER BUCKLED SHOES. HIS SON WAS TAKEN BY
SOLDIERS, ORDERED BY THE POWERS THAT BE.
ROBERT SEARCHES HIGH AND LOW TO FIND A WAY OF MAKING ENOUGH MONEY TO FIND
HIS SON.

• ERWIN KIDD (HIGHWAYMAN/MUTINEER)
The son of the infamous pirate William Kidd (fictional son) Erwin doesn’t
know who his father is, or
that he was executed in London years before his birth. He wears grey
knee-breeches, a dirty, white
linen shirt with a black waistcoat, white, stained stockings, and leather
buckle shoes. He has a tatty,
brown-cocked hat and a dark-red neckerchief. His body is covered with a
black cape. A black mask
covers half of his face when applied to it.

• ABIGAIL WRITE (ERWIN'S FIANCE)
A girl that Erwin saved from being an indentured servant. In the
beginning, she wears dirty women’s
linen clothing with a bonnet and women's shoes, then changes to a linen
shirt, a blue waistcoat,
brown knee breeches, a brown cocked hat, and men's leather shoes. Around
her neck is a
neckerchief. She has cut her hair short and flattened her breasts with a
linen scarf. (She did this
because she is a woman, thus wouldn’t have been accepted aboard a royal
navy ship.)

• SARAH KIDD
Erwin's mother, Williams ACTUAL wife's name. Wears a linen bedgown. She
has a strong Scottish
accent, and long greasy hair, which was once a beautiful dark colour in
curls. (William Kidd was
Scottish.)

• WITCH
She is the witch that placed the spell on the treasures and the heirloom
way back in ancient times,
but she has put a spell on herself that allows her to live until the moon
dies. Unless burned at the
stake.

• BENJAMIN ARLOTT (BENGIE)
Bengie is an orphaned little boy who is at the age of eleven. His mother
died of disease and his
father is a drunk who beat and abandoned him outside of an orphanage when
he was only six years
old. He took up pickpocketing and mastered it at the age of ten.
Logline:
Robert hears of the legend of 'Dead Man's Crossing' and the rumor that
hidden treasures may
lie, on the island, across the water of 'Dead Man's Crossing'. He meets
highwayman Erwin, and
Fiance Abigail... and they form an alliance. Erwin is desperate to find
the treasure, so he can
afford to save the life of his ailing mother.
The gang encounter demons, pirates, captains, sharks, and even a witch
along the way. Their
friendship with the sorceress gives them the key information they need,
to conquer the curse of
the Galleon, and reach the island. Erwin has to take a drastic step to release the treasure finally.
The curse is lifted. The gang return to shore, rich beyond their wildest
dreams. Erwin and Abigail
are married. But their joy is short-lived when they are captured and
hung for their crimes.
This is a charming tale, bursting with imagination and story. Significant
development is needed,
in several areas, to take the script to the next level.
