Lovely website with stacks of valuable family information. One point - none of the family members from the northern parts of Ireland who were born and died before 1922 can be regarded as coming from somewhere called \'Northern Ireland\'. Before 1922 Ireland was unified and formed part of the nation/state known as the \'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland\'. \'Northern Ireland\' came into existence with the British \'Government of Ireland Act\' in 1920 and the new kingdom was called the \'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland\'. I would suggest that all your Irish ancestors born in 19th century Ireland would have simply regarded themselves as Irish or coming from Ireland albeit from the north of Ireland and possibly also from Ulster.

Beautifully done. I found out there is a very far out link here and our elderly neighbour who was the daughter of Dr Kirkpatrick of Ballynagashel. This has been lovely to see about her family history also.

Awesome site! My great grandfather was Alonzo Valenzuela (Kirkpatrick) Berlioz, son of Elise (Kirkpatrick) Berlioz, daughter of Victorine Berlioz, whom fathered her son with a Thomas Kirkpatrick but being a strong willed woman in 19th century Honduras, gaver her sons and daughters her last name (Berlioz) instead of Kirkpatrick. It\'s great to know I have family worlwide! You all take care!

Wonderful site . Just discovered it and you seem to have formed the connections prior to my great Grandfathers wedding in 1855 which I had suspected but never was confidant about.

My mother is Winifred Davidson, daughter of George Henry Davidson and Evelyn Theresa Gertude O\'Pun. george is the son of Robert Davidson and Mary Ann Lord. I have been researching my great uncle William Patrick Davidson who was killed at Pozieres in WW1 and came across the Kirkpatrick Family web record of my family. Kit is so fantastic and provides me with so much information about my family that I knew snippets of but nothing as comprehensive as you have recorded.
I thank you so much.

Given all the recent activity around the ANZACs and Gallipoli I had the thought that Granny (Lily Kirkpatrick) had told me that her brother was killed in WW1 so I found this site by Googling. What a treasure trove already. I thought there were 2 soldiers but seems only one died in Belgium. Perhaps the other death was the brother killed by lightning. Thanks for putting this together, who knows how many 2nd & 3rd cousins we all have out there from the original immigrants. I do remember Granny talking about her mother as a little tiny Irishwoman and thinking how could she have had so many children and survived!

Hi, Great website - congratulations.

I\'m interested in the Trevena family tree and how it overlaps with yours. The weblink above links to my published tree.

I\'m interested how \"madge\" Lord married 2 Trevena brothers and a third. It appears that she was divorced twice as they die significantly later. Was this allowed in this period? Thanks
