I\'m Debbie in the USA, state of Oklahoma. Oklahoma is an Indian word that means home of the people. I\'m mixed race being part Mohah Choctaw 1/8, 1/8 Creek, 1/16 Cherokee and 1/16 another tribe. I\'m also of Israelite/Jewish descent (the birth Israelites are a branch of the Syrian race). My maiden name Debbie (short for Deborah, Hebrew for the bee) and Benefield (American for ben sodah or son of the sod or field). I\'m also Scottish, Irish, German and some African American from my Creek ancestors (Choctaw, Creek and Cherokee are Native American Indian tribes).

I just turned 51 yesterday. I\'m married a 2nd time to Paul who will be 46 on the 25th of this month. Our 20th anniversary is also the 21st. He works for the city electric company. I don\'t work mostly due to health issues though I\'m college educated and have worked in a number of fields (fast food, nursing home work of various kinds, radio, staying with elderly, freelance crafts/arts sales, freelance typing/printing, ebay sales, etc).

We have 2 girls at home ages 17 and 14. One in high school, one in junior High. Both will be at the same school next year again in 9th and 11th. I also have a son 29 with ex-husband.

I am greatly interested in depression, bipolar and other mental health issues as I have a severe form of bipolar as well as physical health issues. I do research on natural helps for illnesses, exercise, occupational and self esteem therapy, etc. (I have a degree in sociology and was activities director for a nursing home and did lots of remotivational therapy and other activites).

We garden (mostly vegetable, but have 4 fruit trees and some flowers), fish, walk/hike, bike, go to movies, shopping, have lots of animals (right now only dogs, cats and 1 gerbil). I love crafts and music as well also teas, incense, candles, stationeries, stickers, help books, do it yourself things....

I\'m interested in religions, human history, ancient languages, Bible, origins of beliefs, etc. I write to people of any/all faiths who are nice respectful. I don\'t like haters or those who just like to be mean, spread rumors, etc. Hence I check and confirm things and do not spread rumors (or the facts either if it is not necessary and useful or wanted).

I love you tube music videos, comedy stuff, funny graphics, cute animal pictures or videos, babies, etc.

I run groups for homemaker\'s help, learning arts and crafts and other things as well as took over some abandoned penpal and email pal groups. I also belong to depression and health issue and nutrition/weight loss groups (I\'m a tad overweight but not much).

I swap friendship books and sheets, paper samples and stickers when I have them, seeds and various tuckins. Postcards are getting scarce and boring here. They used to have cool things with American Indian language like signs/symbols, the Cherokee syllabus (alphabet) of Chief Sequoya, maps of Oklahoma and the USA when it was Indian tribal lands instead of US states, etc. But not it is mostly just the standard joke types like the cowboy riding a jack rabbit and such. Even colorful Indian costumes and such are hard to find anymore. I\'m not sure why. I don\'t collect postcards, but I try to find these things for pals when I can.

Anyway, I guess that is enough for now.

PS It is warmer here and we should be done with the snow, cold soon and be planting. We also got paints to decorate an old metal lawn love seat thing we have. We\'re going to try to clean up and improve the house and yard this spring and summer to make a cute restful place to hang out and sit.

I love to sing my songs for Jesus in my own country way. Others may sing better, but he hears what I say. He always walks beside me and listens when I pray.
