Grace has finished high school and isn’t sure what she wants to do next. Concerned about her lack of direction her mother, Kimberley, encourages her to do some work at the local aged care home. She was a nurse herself and thinks it could help provide Grace with perspective.
Narrated by Grace’s internal monologue she meets a range of characters and is put in situations she didn’t even know could exist.
It is light hearted but intended to shine a spotlight on societal issues including the short comings of healthcare and the sometimes neglectful attitude towards elderly people in the community.
